THE WINES : 350 YEARS OF ELEGANT AND GLAMOUR WINES
Loudenne Le Château
Recalling its lavish English past, the rose colour is symbolique of Loudenne : the property, its rose gardens, its logo… a Loudenne rosé is a must. A rare product produced in small quantities.
Loudenne Le Château rosé is produced from one small parcel of the estate measuring 0.59 hectares of young Merlot vines. Hand harvested early morning in small crates the grapes are picked before complete maturity to retain freshness and liveliness. Le Château rosé is produced by directly pressing the bunches of grapes in a small horizontal pneumatic press protected from the oxygen present in the air. The alcoholic fermentation takes place at low temperature in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. There is no malolactic fermentation and the wine is aged on the lees.
